Mark your calendar for the Third Annual Fíon Tasting, the wine tasting for the common wallet! The folks at Wine and Spirits in the Quarter (Lakeland Drive) are at it again, partnering with Fenian's Irish Pub once again to bring a wine tasting for regular folks, completely informal, all as a benefit for CelticFest Mississippi.

The tasting is known for its fine selections of reds, whites, and roses, all set off by exquisite confections. Whether you are a seasoned wine connoisseur or a new wine drinker, there’s something for you at the Fíon Tasting. Come and join us for a fun and relaxed day sampling some of today's most exciting wines!

Those who are familiar with the 'Fíon' Wine Tasting, now in its third year this August, will recognise the relaxed format. This is not a formal sit-down sampling, but a casual, arrive-when-you-like wine tasting. As you walk through, you will taste wines from around the world in varying styles and colors. Hors d’ oeuvres will also be available to cleanse the palette.

This mostly monthly event was initiated by Catherine Sherer Bishop, TCRG as a reason to get together and do some Irish dancing. It's recently attracted many local Irish musicians who use the ceili as a reason to play some tunes...

We're very lucky that Fenian's management opens their doors just for this event every month. Live music, live dancing to watch or join, Fenian's special Ceili Menu to order from, bartender on duty... what more could one ask for?

This is a family-friendly, smoke-free event with no admission fee.
