The Birmingham Irish Set Dancers is a group of dancers dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Irish Set Dancing. We enjoy the camaraderie of our once-a-week classes, learning and dancing under the direction of Roberta Stamp. The group has been in existence since September 2003. Past performance venues include: Birmingham Celtic Evening, Mississippi Celtic Fest, and Birmingham Zoo Lights. We are affiliated with the Birmingham School of Celtic Arts (BSCA), the Alabama Celtic Association, and Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann.
