Henri's Notions

For over thirty years, Henri's Notions has performed at countless festivals and concerts, mostly all over the Southern and Eastern United States, but also in the Midwest, Ontario, and Israel. From soft finger-picked ballads to hard-driving jigs and reels, Henri's Notions creates a musical mix of traditional Celtic and American music along with their own compositions that have a rhythm and voice reflective of their Southern heritage, which lends a pleasing familiarity to the music. The Notions are: Michael Bowman on fiddle and backing vocals; Jil Chambless on lead vocals, flute, and whistle; Mark Lanter on drums and backing vocals; Scooter Muse on guitar; and Randy (Frog) Palmer on bass, bodhran, and backing vocals.
