McTeggart'sMcTeggart Irish Dancers of Louisiana are part of the one of the most respected Irish dancing schools in the nation.  The first McTeggart School was established in 1939 in Cork, Ireland. In 1958, Maureen McTeggart Hall, TCRG, ADCRG, and her family immigrated to the United States, bringing the art of Irish Dancing to the United States. Mrs. Hall began teaching in Denver in 1976, later establishing other McTeggart schools in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah. McTeggart dancers range from beginners to Open Champions, and routinely compete in the North American Championships, All Irelands and the World Championships.
