Nicolas Brown is one of Ontario's finest young Irish musicians. Hailing from the town of Kitchener, he is equally proficient on the Irish uilleann pipes, flute and tin whistle. Nicolas started his musical career playing the french horn, but discovered the tin whistle at the age of 17. This led eventually to the wooden flute and the uilleann pipes. He has performed at various festivals and concert venues around North America, and has won multiple awards at the Midwest Irish music competitions. He has a deep love and veneration for the styles of the older generations of Irish pipers and musicians.  His own unique playing style reflects this respect and understanding.
