Jim Waters

Jim Waters is an a cappella (AKA Sean Nos) singer of Celtic, Canadian, Australian and American ballads. Ballads tell a story, hence “Stories in Songs.” This is Jim’s 16th consecutive appearance at CelticFest Mississippi either solo or in duos with Red McWilliams and/or Donna Fitch. Partly known (or notorious?) for his ever-present songbook, he always attends (and is willing to share his book and songs with those participating) the now traditional Saturday evening “Sing-Song” at CelticFest. Jim also has appeared as a guest with many other performers across the country and has performed at eight editions of the North Texas Irish Festival.
